Hi Catherine,
Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate it.
It looks like the donate button indeed does not work x_O
It was working some time ago, don't know what's wrong. I will take a look when I'll have the chance. The donate button on easystereogrambuilder seems to be ok instead. Both of the sites are own by me, so you can use that button instead.
Thanks,
Catalin

I tried to donate to this most interesting site, but when I clicked the "Donate" button the donate button disappeared. Nothing else happened. Is this button working? I am most happy to donate to this excellent work you are giving to all of us here on the internet!

Take a look at: http://www.ladimolnar.com/Fractalia/. You can use it to explore the Mandelbrot and Julia sets.

A mandelbrot set its easy to plot, the hardest part probably is to draw correctly on the screen. Depending on the language you need I think you can google it for a bit and you will find your information.
In pseudocode the mandelbrot set is computed like here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandelbrot_set. There is a section "For programmers" there.

Pax kivimae:
Please, please put a version I can download, I love this thing to death, better then any thing i've found on the internet. You man, are a genius, and I hope you feel good for creating such a simple system that can serve as an introduction to the more intricate parts, while still adding a color system to allow to elevated aesthetic qualities. Then theres the export button, man I love that thing, I have made endless crafts on this thing in a way I never could before. Catos, your a good person, I hope to see more of your work in the future.
-Sincerely,
Pax C. Kivimae, Fractal Fan

Not realy. Now all it supports is z, z0, i, Re(z) and Im(z).
Agree that the validation does not work and that I need to fix that. If it finds symbols that does not recognize it ignores them.

Is it possible to successfully use other variables or other constants like "i" or "e" or "pi" or etc? Cause all I get is a black screen when I use them.

Hi, now you can also use Re(z) and Im(z) to have access to the real and imaginary part of z for your custom fractals.
